Publications and Media

publicationsWe are constantly striving to raise awareness of the specialty, particularly to undergraduate medical students, and raise the 'national' profile.

As a results, we - along with the Royal College of Pathologists, have written a number of publications to show the work done since the national training schools were first established (2001).

These publications are designed to share innovative ways of working.  A number of these school-related publications and media have given the ST1 trainees an opportunity of becoming involved in a national project.

Banner and table-top exhibition display competition

Banner This was a competition aimed at ST1 trainees to design a banner and table-top display stand to take along to events such as Careers Fairs etc.

The winning entry would be the 'face' of Histopathology i.e. something which would inform members of the public and students what Histopathology as a specialty is all about.
