Paediatric Pathology
At the Royal Liverpool Children's Hospital (Alder Hey), trainees will gain experience in the histopathological diagnosis of childhood tumours and conditions. Paediatric autopsies will also be taught as part of the paediatric pathology curriculum.
Neuropathology
The Walton Institute for Neurology is where ST1 Trainees will receive training in Neuropathology. The second half of the rotation will allow trainees to gain exposure to reporting of surgical biopsy specimens and neuropathology autopsies.
